Elastoplastic Analysis of Holed Plate
Application ID: 244
This example shows the analysis of a perforated plate loaded into the plastic regime. Part of the example is a benchmark, which you can find in section 7.10 of The Finite Element Method by O.C. Zienkiewicz. The unloading of the plate and residual stresses are also studied.
In a second part of the example, it is shown how a hardening function based on a measured stress–strain curve can be used.
This model example illustrates applications of this type that would nominally be built using the following products:
however, additional products may be required to completely define and model it. Furthermore, this example may also be defined and modeled using components from the following product combinations:
- COMSOL Multiphysics® and
- either the ジオメカニクスモジュール, or 非線形構造材料モジュール and
- either the MEMS モジュール, or 構造力学モジュール
The combination of COMSOL® products required to model your application depends on several factors and may include boundary conditions, material properties, physics interfaces, and part libraries. Particular functionality may be common to several products. To determine the right combination of products for your modeling needs, review the 製品仕様一覧 and make use of a free evaluation license. The COMSOL Sales and Support teams are available for answering any questions you may have regarding this.
