In session 4 of this continuing lecture series, we will work through the modeling steps and use of the COMSOL® software for modeling electromagnetic coils with the AC/DC Module. This session builds upon the previously presented sessions and continues to look into topics relevant to coil modeling. This lecture series session will address the modeling of 3D coils in the static, low-frequency, and high-frequency regimes and address meshing and solving such models efficiently.
The series of 5 1-hour parts will start on Monday, June 1, at 11 a.m. EDT and run through Friday, June 5, at the same time every day.
