Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) in automotive systems stem from sound and vibrations generated by various components in a vehicle. NVH analysis is critical when designing the electromechanical parts of a vehicle, ultrasonic sensors, and car audio systems. The acoustics profile of each component is a result of the interaction between multiple physical effects, including multibody dynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, and structural mechanics. Optimizing component behavior therefore requires accurate prediction and analysis of these different physical interactions.
