Import and assign grain orientation from an .csv file

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi you all, I am trying to investigate the impact of grain orientation on the steel corrosion at the moment. I have used external software: MTEX, Gmsh and Matlab to generate mesh (.msh) and extract a properties file (.csv), which contains the grain orientation data, from an EBSD figure . I converted the mesh file to readable data for Comsol and imported the meshed object into Comsol successfully then construct solid geometry from the imported mesh. Now I am trying to import .csv file to Comsol in order to assign the grain orientation to the constructed geometry. Unfortunately, so far I could not find any procedure to do this. I tried to import data and implement interpolation function in Comsol but the final shape had uneven surface and does not look like what I expected. (as it is indicated in the attached .png file). I am writing to kindly ask you for some suggestion to make it. In the attachment you can find my importable .mphtxt, .csv and .png files. Thank you very much in advance!
