I set up a model of a fiber tow, but I do not know how to choose the "study" to start simulation and calculate the permeability. Thanks a lot!

Dear Chen,

I invite you to take a look at the following model :

www.comsol.com/model/permeability-estimation-33331

It consists in the modelling of a fluid flow through a porous material, using laminar (Navier-Stokes) flow equations. You can also look at this video :

www.comsol.com/video/how-set-up-run-simulation-comsol-multiphysics

which explains how to set up and run a simulation with COMSOL Multiphysics.

I hope it will help you. Do not hesitate also to contact the technical support if you other questions.

Best regards,
