nozzle-diffuser 2-D vs peristaltic pump

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I now currently on the simulation track at nozzle-diffuser design.
I refer to the peristaltic pump model which gain from the model library.

However, I face some problem with the volumetric flow rate and net flow rate.

For inflow, the boundary integration is Vin=2*pi*r*v, does any one have idea why 2*pi*r is used instead of pi*r*r, since, volume is the integration of area.

Regarding the netflow,I observe there is an equation:
netflow=netflowt-(inflow +outflow)/(2*Ttot)

but I cannot find any netflowt value inside.

Appreciate for expert help and advise.

Thanks.
