MEMS Device Q Factor and Eigenvalues

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am working on modeling a 6 DOF device. When I run a TED analysis I get around 20 different eigenvalues. I know which are my sense and drive modes. My issue is that with each eigenvalue I calculate a different Q factor

Q = abs(img(lambda)/2/real(lambda))

But my Q varies from 8300 to 28000... So if I'm trying to find Q factor for the device, how do I know/decide which eigenvalue (or eigenvalue range) to choose?

Thank you so much in advanced!
