On Mapping Mesh Division of Double Electric Layer Direction

I want to draw a mapping mesh in this model, and the requirements are as follows: A mapped mesh with M uniform points along the azimuthal direction and N points along the radial direction is used in the simulation.(M=1200,N=500)the total number of mesh elements is chosen to be 600 000 in the current study. To resolve the detailed information of EDL,extremely fine meshes were created near the cylinder surface. The smallest mesh size near the cylinder surface is 1% ofthe Debye length(Debye length is 0.1nm) and then increases by 3% away from the cylinder. Do you have any good suggestions? Do I need to draw a mesh inside of the circle? My method is like this(2.png、3.png). Is it correct?
