Scalar expressions box in Comsol 6.1

Hello everyone, in the past versions of Comsol there was the scalar expressions window; I'd like to know how to use it in Comsol 6.1. Is it the variables branch I can define from global definitions?
I need it because, according to Roger W. Pryor, it's a way to define the spherical coordinates from the Cartesian ones.
