AI-Assisted Simulation and Agentic Workflows

AI is creating new possibilities for simulation automation, model development, and engineering productivity. In this webinar, we will discuss how AI tools and simulation can be used together, beginning with an introduction to the COMSOL API and the chatbot window functionality in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. The first part of the webinar will show how the Chatbot window can assist with modeling tasks, generate and correct COMSOL API code, and help automate simulation workflows.
The second part of the webinar will be presented by Cosmon and will focus on Nexus, Cosmon’s AI agent for mechanical engineering workflows. Nexus is an intelligent assistant designed to accelerate CAD, simulation, and PLM workflows while keeping engineers in the loop and in control of important decisions. Cosmon will demonstrate how AI agents can reduce repetitive work, streamline simulation and design workflows, and help engineering teams move more efficiently through model setup, troubleshooting, and postprocessing.
Attend this webinar for a practical look at how AI-assisted programming, simulation automation, and agent-based engineering workflows can advance modeling and simulation.

Rui Aguiar is an engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur. Early in his career, he worked alongside Andrew Ng, the former head of Google Brain, where he contributed to the field of artificial intelligence and published multiple papers on reinforcement learning and computer vision systems.
Following his research tenure, Aguiar applied his technical expertise to the startup ecosystem, successfully building a company operating at the intersection of computer vision and hardware engineering. Today, he is the CEO of Cosmon, where he focuses on the next frontier of software development by building advanced, agentic tools for engineers.
