The modeling of this phenomenon is an extremely powerful tool that enables a greater understanding of the corrosion processes undergone by a given system. Additionally, modeling facilitates the development of mitigation techniques and systems, such as cathodic protection systems. The Corrosion Module, an add-on to the COMSOL Multiphysics® software, provides a wide array of features designed to enhance corrosion and cathodic protection modeling.
In this webinar, these features will be introduced, highlighting the different physics interfaces that may be leveraged to accurately represent systems of interest. There will also be a live demonstration showing how simple it is to create your own cathodic protection model in the software.
