Remeshing of Deformed Geometry

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

There's a deforming part in a geometry with an edge moving downsides and the others hoding their position.
After I defined the free deformation part and prescribed the mesh velocity, and run the model.
I can't satisfy with the result, the region connected to the unreformed parts are distort too much.
So how to re mesh the deforming mesh to couple with the deforming geometry during the calculation?

Hi Aijun Li,

Would you try following procedures from your mesh.mph and check the result?
1) From the Prescribed Mesh Displacement 1 of Deformed Geometry (dg), uncheck the Prescribed y displacement of Prescribed Mesh Displacement.
2) Add Prescribed Mesh Displacement 2 from the boundary setting region by left mouse of Deformed Geometry (dg), add boundary 5.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you! It works!
