What's the meaning of Port off in emw module

If I set two lumped port in an emw module, fix excitation of one port on and another off, so what's the meaning of this off port.

Is this port terminated by the refenence impedance or just keep open/short-circuit.

An "off" port will supply the boundary condition (i.e., the associated impedance, for a lumped port) for the associated field configuration. It's a good way to simulate an ideal "dummy load."
