ODE simulation problem

I have modeled the paper "study of Nonlinear Effects in Electrokinetics" by soni, squires and meinhart (attached here)
here, i have defined an ODE as Ey_es+0.16*ztat [as in equation 26 in the paper]where my variable is zta and ztat is time derivative.
this Ey_es value has to come from the solution of Poisson equation. but when i am trying to solve, my model gives me error
Error: 6250
Failed to evaluate variable Jacobian.
- Variable: Ey_es
- Global scope


how can i fix this problem?
please help.
