The energy loss takes the simple form of dE/dx*s where the dE/dx is the energy loss per unit length and s is the path length. I can foresee that the velocity magnitude would need to be reduced after each tracking step based on the step size thereby reducing the Larmor radius as the electron penetrates the material.
I am not certain how to implement this in COMSOL.
