About the complex value in the solution of RF model.

Hi , everyone . I met a problem when using the RF model. The problem is : when I follow the example in model lib which is RF_Module/Optics_and_Photonics/step_index_fiber,I noticed that in the post processing section, I need enter 45 degree in solution at angle, why need I enter 45 there? If not do , the real part of Ez is zero.Only image part of Ez has values. That is a little weird in physics, it is a model to calculate the mode in setp_index_fiber, all the value should be real in fact. Otherwise, if I calculate some other modes that in the solution of COMSOL the Ez both has image and real part. What should I do to get the physically real part?Thank in advance.
