Results and Visualization with COMSOL Multiphysics

Visualization is an incredibly important part of the modeling workflow. Visually displaying the physics as well as extracting solution data give an explanation of what’s really happening inside a system or design.
The results and visualization tools in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software are a great asset for helping you understand your results and explain your work to colleagues, collaborators, and customers.
Join us for this workshop to learn how to efficiently use the evaluation and visualization functionality in COMSOL Multiphysics®. You will learn how to:
- Work with solution datasets
- Define evaluations of numerical results
- Create different plot types
- Export model results
- Import external data
Schedule
09:00–09:15 Registration in the training room
09:15-10:30 Working with the software
10:30-10:45 Coffee break
10:45-11:45 Working with the software
11:45–12:00 Q&A
Suggested Background
The COMSOL Multiphysics® open training is suitable for anyone with an engineering, physics, or science background. Experience with using COMSOL Multiphysics® or participation on the Open COMSOL Multiphysics Training is recommended.
Important Note
To participate, you will need a computer installed with COMSOL Multiphysics. This event is organized in Aalto University computer classroom, which means that Aalto account holders can use the computers in the classroom. Attendees without an Aalto account need to bring their own laptop. For this specific training, a Windows® operating system is recommended. A free two-week trial license of COMSOL Multiphysics will be sent to you. Please make sure that the installation is successfully completed prior to the event.
