Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics^® Workshop

Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop to get an introduction to the fundamentals of COMSOL Multiphysics^®

This workshop is designed to help you develop a foundation for your future multiphysics modeling work. We will start at an introductory level, leading you through the essential steps needed in all analyses: geometry creation, meshing, model setup, and results and visualization.

Topics

We will begin with a guided introduction to the software’s user interface (UI) so that you can learn the key steps in the modeling workflow. In particular, we will walk you through the following:

• Using and understanding the key features of the COMSOL Multiphysics^® architecture
• Geometry creation
• Basics of meshing
• Result visualization
• Compiling a simulation app

Suggested Background

This workshop will be suitable for anyone with an engineering, physics, or science background. No previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics^® is required.

Important Note

To participate, you will need a computer installed with COMSOL Multiphysics^®. A free two-week trial license of the software will be sent to you. Please make sure that the installation is successfully completed prior to the event.
