Hey everybody,
I am new to Comsol and work on a particle flow. Therefore I use Comsol 4.1 mixture model. I started out with a pretty easy model and got results already, but I wonder about the volume fractions Comsol calculated. I thought Volume fraction was:
phi = Volume_dispersed phase / Volume_in total
And I was expecting something close to 50% = 0.5. But instead I get values to 1.5*10^11 as volume fraction for the dispersed phase and -1.5*10^11for the continuous phase. What does this mean?
Thank you already,
Lisa
