Illegal Vertex Selection Error

I'm using the heat transfer module in conjunction with the general PDE to solve a problem to model a prosthesis within a bone. I'm trying to implement Extrusion Coupling, but keep getting the error "Illegal Vertex Selection Error" when I go to solve the problem. I've double and triple checked to ensure that I selected the points on one shape in a specific order and repeated that same procedure for the "Destination Vertices". I'm able to run this in 3.5 but am trying to convert a tutorial to 4.2.
