Armélio is a multiphysics engineering company that supports industrial actors. Our company operates in many sectors within manufacturing processes and on the conceptualization of innovative products. With our team of talented engineers, we have been providing consulting services with COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software since 2010. Historically, Armélio has worked in the automobile and aerospace industries, but it has also provided consultant services within the medical, food-processing, and energy sectors. To support the development of Armélio and our products, we have built partnerships with a number of research laboratories throughout France.

Areas of Expertise

Armélio primarily offers expertise in the following areas:

  • Structural mechanics with emphasis on durability (creep and fatigue)
  • Lubrication and friction modeling
  • Heat transfer
  • Electromagnetics and electric current applications
  • Simulation of manufacturing processes (welding, gluing, brazing, etc.)
  • Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

Available Support

With over 20 years of experience in numerical simulation for design and process optimization, Armélio supports the development of new products and operations. With heavy expertise in the fields of materials, mechanics, physics, and numerical simulation, we design and optimize parts, processes, and variable components. Through multiphysics simulations, our team provides insight into product design in order to assess costs, performance, and robustness. We also support the development of simulation methodologies. Additionally, Armélio has substantial expertise in investigating existing processes, suggesting innovative improvements, and optimizing manufacturing fluxes.

Our Method

When working on projects, Armélio relies not only on numerical simulations, but also on physical experiments conducted in partnership with academic laboratories. We have developed expertise in experimental design, which can also be applied to numerical studies for verification, validation, and calibration purposes. Finally, we help companies perform technology and strategic analyses in order to spot current technology trends and the emergence of new ones.
