RF Modeling in COMSOL Multiphysics® (In-person)
In collaboration with SDU Sønderborg, we are setting up this workshop on electromagnetic wave propagation used in e.g. antennas, wave guides, couplers, filters and other RF applications.
If you are new to COMSOL Multiphysics we recommend to also participarte in the morning session: Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics®
Designers of RF and microwave devices need to ensure that the electromagnetics-based products are reliable and robust. Traditional electromagnetics modeling lets you examine electromagnetic wave effects alone, but no real-world product operates under ideal operational conditions. To see how other physics phenomena affect the design, you need multiphysics modeling, which allows extending your analysis to include effects such as temperature rise and structural deformations.

- Coupling to other physics like RF and microwave heating
- Example models
- Hands-on
Finally, we go through good modeling practice so you are ready to build your own models.
Hands-On Session
For the hands-on session, please bring a laptop to maximize your learning experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to start your free two-week trial of COMSOL Multiphysics® on-site.
