                                                    Estimate the temperature of the catalyst system of Example 21.8-1, if Pr = 0.6, Cp = 11.7 [cal g-mol-1 K-1] and the heat of reaction per mole of cyclohexane produced is AH = - 51 [Kcal g-mol-1] for conditions on the surface of the catalyst. Suppose that the above values for the constant properties remain the same.
21.8-1 In a fixed bed reactor benzene is hydrogenated to the total pressure of 30 atm. To estimate the composition of the gas in contact with the catalyst particles in a cross section where the average conditions of gas flow are as follows:
